Over the years Matthew has worked with an eclectic array of artists, which has given him a distinct sound and feel. Matthew also plays Bass Synth (keyboard), which gives him the versatility to adopt any style in Popular Music.

There are many bass players and artist that have inspired me from church musicians to touring musicians such as Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten, Andrew Gouche, Darrel Freeman, Sharay Reed, Adam Blackstone, Thad Tribett just to name a few. Gospel Artist such as Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp, The Winans, Kirk Franklin have played a Big part in my development. Chaka Khan, Mint Condition, Usher, the list goes on !
