Guitarist in Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
Played guitar in an Ozzy tribute band for 13+ years.

Guitar. And stuff.
My chief piece of equipment is surprise. Surprise and fear. Fear and surprise.
My two pieces of equipment are surprise and fear.
Amongst my many pieces of equipment are such diverse elements as fear and surprise and ruthless efficiency...
Field Of Trip Wires
Field Of Trip WiresV1.0 mix 1.1 A sort of Suicidal Testament. Because there's no rule that says a song has to end how it begins. No vocals on this version. You don't want to hear the guide vocal that's been recorded, it's, as they say, for information only.
And Stay Down
And Stay DownV1 Thanks to Gary Kahler & Jeff Hanneman for inspiring the zombie solos...

Emergency Code Z
Emergency Code ZWoke up after dreaming I wrote a song. Got up and recorded riffs for said song, was mucking about and hit on the opening riff for what became this one. Written, arranged and recorded before breakfast. V1.0 Not Very Mixed 1.0 Words written. About zombies. Again. Still can't sing for sh*t so no vocals until they're at least not terrible. Or at least less terrible than they are now. Yes, that is a deliberate nod to Dan Lilker at the end.
FallingTitle is subject to change, depending on if I still like the lyrics what I have written enough to keep them. PS - Don's Mast....Mast o'Don...geddit? It's an homage.
Dead Eyes Don't Remember
Dead Eyes Don't RememberA more completer version than the old, more shorter, less complete version. Quiet though. I'll make a louder mix soon. Words are written. Vocal arrangement is (mostly) done, on paper anyway. Still can't sing, unfortunately. One thing remains: "In the highly unlikely event this ever gets played live, I'm going to work in a zombie mosh pit thing for the middle. If it's anywhere near as funny in real life as it is in my head it'll be a reet laugh"
Death Is Not The End/Coming Back
Death Is Not The End/Coming BackDeath is not the end...clearly it is, but for the purposes of my zombie-themed songs, it isn't :-) Coming back...it's awkward and wonky, well it would be. I reckon I'll keep this as an instrumental. V1, mix 1.1 This should go straight into 'No Known Cause Or Cure', hence the abrupt ending.
No Known Cause Or Cure
No Known Cause Or CureGot words. About zombies. Working on vocals. Current status: can't sing for sh*t. You'll get 'em when they're ready. V1 deleted. V2 mix 1. V2.1 on the way.
They Can't Be Tamed
They Can't Be TamedThrash. Starts off slow then picks up the tempo quite a bit. One of my current favourite riffs is in here. No bass on this version. Some of the drum fills could probably do with a bit of tweaking. Still Laughing As You Eternally Rot. Formerly 'basic setup 2020-07-006'
Cutting It Off Won't Help
Cutting It Off Won't HelpThrashin' like the 90's never happened... in 7/8 and 6/8 and parts that go up to 200bpm, obviously, why wouldn't you? Previously had the snappy title 'Basic Setup 2021 - 01 - 17 - 01 - V1'. Been on a lyric writing spree, y'see, and now some words have a home to go to.
Template 2021 01 13 V1
Template 2021 01 13 V1Mean. Moody. Tuned BEADF#B. Bags of delay and reverb. Unfinished. Arrangement might get re-done. No bass. No vocals. Some of the drum MIDI files need tweaking so they target notes that actually trigger stuff. Some of them need reworking or replacing. No mix to speak of. No EQ, compression, none of that. Nor a proper name. Spot the part where I dropped a drum file in the wrong place and kept it because it sounded interesting. In spite of all of that, let's see how many random robot likes & comments this gets... Update: several weeks later and...no robot likes or comments. Damn. It's as if they knew.
