Lead Guitar, Other Percussion, Keyboard, Other.

I'm a drummer and sometimes composer looking for music-people to get a new music project (band) up and running. Please have a look at the list below. If you don't know any of the bands, I'd recommend a listen! If you play guitar or keys or another melodic instrument that you think might fit, please get in touch. If you could include links to stuff you've done before/would like to do in the future, that'd be nice. It'd be good to find some sort of sound-wizard-type-person who can play with loops/chaos-pad/electronic stuff, too.

I've uploaded some ideas. They're basically just riffs at the moment. If you'd like to improve on them I'll send you proper versions to play with. If you can, try and imagine the sounds as a bit less artificial. I did them all on Reason and it's not great for live instrument sounds.

This week I have been mostly listening to...

Holy fu*k
The Redneck Manifesto
ElectricElectric (http://www.deezer/fr/music/electric-electric)

There's quite a lot of variety here, but it gives you a flavour of the kind of thing I'd like to do. You can find all but one on Spotifty. The last two are a bit more electronic - and perhaps a bit ambitious for a live band - but you get the idea.

Just me so far. E-mail philjackson5@.co.uk if you're interested.

Two drum-kits, a budget acoustic guitar, a mac, the internet. I'd like to be able to exchange/edit ideas online, then get together maybe once a week to turn the ideas into real playable music. I use Reason quite a lot, so if you're familiar with it or something similar, that'd be good. Swapping bedroom recordings might be good too.

If you're a guitarist: effects, delay and loop pedals will be required! :)
