We are This City Limits, a high energy rock/punk band in the vein of Rise Against, Mallory Knox and We Are The Ocean. In the last four months we have released two singles, which you can listen to (along with our other recordings) at our Bandcamp page - http://thiscitylimits.bandcamp. Both singles have received significant radio airplay, including BBC Introducing, and coverage in the national press. We have gigs booked at the 02 Academy and Plug in Sheffield, 360 Club in Leeds, and have also had interest from several management companies.
We are searching for a proficient bass player who is also willing to assist with promotion and bookings etc. The ideal candidate would:
- Be an experienced and technically accomplished bass player.
- Be based in Leeds or the surrounding area.
- Be available for rehearsals in Leeds City Centre 2-3 times per fortnight (inc. weekends).
- Be available and willing to travel for regular gigs.
- Own all the necessary equipment.
- Be available to begin rehearsals on 1 September, and ready to honour our current bookings by 1 October.
- Be confident in singing backing vocals (preferred but not essential)
- Have a full driving license and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential).
