We\'re Alt Rock/Experimental
We sound ruffly like a slow heavy kings of leon come sonic youth so far (it's so hard to describe - but we do some acoustic stuff where alan plays his organ.. (no innuendos please)
We\'re Just starting out in glasgow, (By the way the terrible suns is a working title) So far We\'re five sessions in, and we\'ve written two songs together, so far in the band we have:
Me- John Clark (playing guitar 4 years writing for 3)
I do rhythm guitar and lead vocals, I\'ve been doing the singer songwriter thing for about 3 year, previously performing under the name J.C. Lovegrove (And during my brief tenure in a funk band as J.C. Lovegroove and the fantastic funk machine) and more recently under my current name of John Clark Ross.
We've written two tracks together and We have about six of my songs which are suitable to be played as a band.

He\'s been in a few bands, he\'s currently in another experimental Altrock outfit called shoulder distolshia (I\'m not keen on the name)They sound pretty cool though.

We Need a Drummer First and foremost, We had a good drummer but he was lived miles from glasgow and the travel & studio costs were getting on top of him. If your a red/blue box sequencing and sampling wizz get in touch we'd be open to incorporating an electronic influence instead of a drummer. We\'re Looking For A Lead Guitarist and a keyboard player. Ideally we\'d be looking for a female vocalist/keys player, however if we find a good male keys player, we\'ll look for a seperate female vocalist.
For the Vocalist we're looking to find some one to take a Lisa Hannigan position in the band, so essencially that would mean backing and duets, (with lead parts in some songs) and taking the lead on a couple of songs (obviously if you write it you can sing it)
For the Guitarist if you have your own style, and you can play for the good of the band then you\'re ideal. We'd love someone who can shred when called for but Metal Headed Fretwanking Glory Hounds need not apply..
