The Slight Aches are a pooling of established and new to the scene musicians and song writers. We formed earlier in year and are growing into our sound. We write our own songs and cover some choice material also, including instrumental bluegrass. The band is a four piece with Wendy A Bennett and Simon Crafter on guitars and vocal, Alison Stewart on vocal and mandolin, and Adam Mace on banjo.
At present we play gigs/club nights, mostly in north/central and south London, between 2-4 times a month.
The plan is to record a myspace for the band this autumn and CD early next year. For now you can hear some of wendy's songs on www.myspace/wendyabennett.
Be great to get a double bass and fiddle player on board with us before we start recording. Rehearsals are usually on a wednesday night in camden
