The Revivals background
We are a 6 piece Rock ,pop and dance band, we blend a combination of youth and energy with experience and wisdom although the wisdom might be a bit dodgy at times. We are very different to most cover bands and our set list and approach reflects that.
We have been together for 12 months now and are developing and growing our reputation and venues in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas The revivals will give you a fantastic night of entertainment and a show to remember .

Our influences and genre are really varied, from Billy Joel to Scissor Sisters to Kula Shaker and Maroon five we really do cover a big genre of music which is great and always exciting to play.

The Band Members:
Hannah Charlesworth- 20 years old Lead vocals ..Hannah is an ex ACM ( Acedemy of Contempory Music) student loves rock music, chill out stuff, loves sweet things and is very loud ..we called her noise.

Chloe Dixon -19 years old Co- Vocals.. Chloe is a former student at South Downs College and is now attending Chichester college studying her Degree in Music Vocals, loves all genres and sings our soul stuff and 60's brilliantly ...she is our calming influence.

Toby Brookes - 18 years old Drummer ..Toby is doing his HND in Music at Southdowns College loves his blues and rock, and i defy anybody that can hit drums louder than this man !!!

Jack Cottle - 18 years old - Keys and Vocals ..jack is an ex southdowns student and is about to do his degree at the Sir Paul McCartney arts college in Sept ..loves Billy Joel and his blues ...there is laid back then there's Jack

Mark Willmott - 44 Bass player and all round fountain of knowledge on music..loves his rock and metal and needs a haircut !

Marshall Charlesworth - 46 Guitar and Vocals Loves all genres even some of the catchy new stuff ...been playing in a duo called Charm with Mark for a staggering 22 years..and i'm still sane ..just

Marshall Charlesworth - 46 Guitar and Vocals Loves all genres even some of the catchy new stuff ...my experience covers 25 years playing in several bands over the years from 10 piece function bands to duo's, covering audiences from 5000 people to playing to Royality and i still love it.

EQUIPMENT

4 x Mackie 450v2's outfront and foldback plus a Mackie 350, Sm58's all round on vocals, Guitars are Ibanez prestige and a strat ultra plus '93 and a Warwick streamer phase 1 bass through a Marshall 401( bright red Limited edition) and an Ashdown evo iii 500 watt head and 4x10 cab. Keys we use a Roland RD-700sx weighted. For larger venues we use a 5 K rig additional lighting and an engineer.
