The Fringe are a Gosport/Fareham based covers band who are looking for a replacement Singer/Vocalist/Frontman after the previous one let us down recently and left the band. We are looking for someone who can actually sing, entertain an audience and enjoy playing to audiences ranging from local pubs to large party/festival gigs. We have gigs booked throughout the year, but will only take on the right person. You need to be able to commit to approx 2 gigs a month (sometimes more, sometimes less), be reliable, be able to travel, have a laugh, enjoy what you do and be open to new ideas. The rest of the band consists of Drums, Bass Guitar and Lead Guitar. We have been playing together for a few years and are very tight. This is a quality covers band with a good reputation that we want to build on. The type of music we play ranges from: The Killers, Razorlight, The Specials, The Buzzcocks, Green Day, Arctic Monkeys, The Jam, U2, The White Stripes, Oasis, Kula Shaker, Ocean Colour Scene, Kaiser Chiefs, The Wombats, The Clash, Primal Scream............ you get the idea. We don’t want to play the ‘pub standards’ and we are always looking at new songs to add to the set list. We have our own studio/rehearsal room and usually practice once a week when learning new songs. If you want to give this a go, get in touch and we will sort out an informal get together.
