The Burning Lye is a new band in 2010, founded by drummer Emily Bailey (25) and Bassist Phil Smith (24), who have a 7 year history of playing together.
We are looking to produce experimental music that mixes styles and genres. We are looking to create an eclectic sound.
Our aim is to record and gig the music we create. We rehearse in central London.
The band is committed, but also laid back. This project is all about having fun and making great music, without making playing a chore.
