I've been playing and writing all kinds of music for over 20 years. My main instrument is guitar, but there's a bunch of other stuff thrown in for good measure, including classical training on the trumpet. I've been having vocal training for over a year and that's something I'm now looking to put into practice.
I'm looking for other musicians interested in doing something that stretches them musically. What I don't want to play is anything that sounds like anything you've heard before - I'm not into imitating anyone else. Aside from that, anything goes.

Influences
Lately I've been listening to Magnetic Man, Chopin, James Blake, Bright Eyes, Plan B, PJ Harvey, Scott Walker, Feist & Edwyn Collins, among others. My all-time favourites would have to be Massive Attack & Bowie.
There's a noticeable Brazilian influence on what I write & play from a long spell of playing samba & samba reggae in a percussion group. I particularly like anything rhythmically unusual or percussion-heavy.
EQUIPMENT
6 & 12-string acoustic & 6-string electric guitars, bass & amps; congas, timba, cajon & various other percussion bits & pieces.
