Bass Guitar.ABOUT
The Worry Beads are a five piece playing all original material. We formed initially as a studio project but things have gone so well that we are now gigging - quality rather than quantity. Our Bass Player has decided to leave and we now need a new bassist to complete the line-up.
Our age mix is from mid 20's to early 40's and we're all seasoned
veterans/sessioneers playing to a good standard.
Style-wise we're rock with the odd touch of blues and even a hint of
country. Gig-wise it's quality rather than quantity so we're looking at
smaller festivals rather than the local pub. We rehearse once per week in our own studio.
We take the band fairly seriously but we all hold down day jobs and are not
stupid enough to think we're going to be the next big thing (we've been
there, done that). Nor are we in it for the money.
We do know however that there is a mature audience for great songs,
perfromed well and the feedback we've had so far has been
overwhelming. We've got some festival dates lined up for end of May in Scotland (Montrose Music Festival) and then the plan is to record our first album for release later in the year.
