Hello we are The Standby Setting an alternative-rock band based in the Derby/Nottingham area, we've been together for a few years and due to recent changes we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated bass guitarist to join the band.
We are a hard working and dedicated bunch and hope after a while you would feel as passionate about the band as we do.
An interest in writing original material is a must, past studio/gigging experience not essential but beneficial.
Our influences are mixed - New Model Army, Manchester Orchestra, TV Smith,The Wedding Present, The Cure, The Decemberists…
We have a handful of festival dates already booked this summer so if you would like to work with an enthusiastic singer-songwriter, guitarist and drummer please get in touch!
