ABOUT

The People's Orchestra gives talented, amateur, adult, musicians the opportunity to use their skills.

The People's Orchestra is all about passion and enjoyment ? the repertoire will be orchestral, but more accessible ? think ?Pirates of the Caribbean?, ?Lord of the Rings?, ?Harry Potter?. And out goes stuffy tuxedos to be replaced by vibrant coloured T-shirts.

The People's Orchestra has its first concert booked at The Adrian Boult Hall, on November 4th. and auditions take place at the Custard Factory on 22nd & 29th April 2012.

Influences

The People's Orchestra is all about passion, excellence and fun ? the players need to be passionate about their music, but they need to enjoy themselves and their audiences need to enjoy themselves as well. Andy Sandham has chosen a repertoire that will be orchestral, but more accessible ? think, ?Pirates of the Caribbean?, ?Lord of the Rings?, ?Harry Potter?.
