Hey everyone
We are serious and committed metal band called The Laden Cross looking for 2nd guitar player to create more comprehensive and complete sound. We are vocalist, guitarist, bassist and drummer aged between 21-30 and rehearsing few times a week. We have a regular shared rehearsal space.
About ambitions/the band:
We have all played in different bands before and had to leave them due to the lack of commitment of other band members. We have day jobs but still commit to 3 evenings rehearsals per week as we aim to get far. At the moment, we have 4 complete songs and many many ideas. We’ve put a lot of meaning into the band name as we do into our songs. We are schedule to record an EP in June, and then do some local gigs (have 1 lined up for 3rd June possibly), while negotiating with producers regarding recording a full album and properly touring by the end of 2016. At the moment we do not have proper records of our songs as it is pretty much impossible to record good quality track on rehearsals, but sometimes we record tracks during rehearsals anyway, one of which you can hear on our soundcloud page by searching The Laden Cross or visiting soundcloud/theladencross . Influences
About our influences and band vision:
We are often asked regarding our influences. They vary for each band member, but we all love the heavy sound. Whether it is Metallica, Megadeth, Nazareth, Black Sabbath, Disturbed, Lamb of God or Judas Priest, we all find the “heaviness” of the sound the most appealing thing. We do not intend to “copy” the style of any particular band though, but we do put power into our songs through playing and vocals.
