ABOUT
The Crisis - rock-pop covers band in our forties/fifties, who throw in the occasional original number, playing functions, festivals and (less so) pub gigs in the North West/West Midlands/Mid Wales. Emphasis on the live experience - massive light show, engagement with the crowd, merch even! - but we have a good time rehearsing too. Have free rehearsal space near Lake Vyrnwy in Mid Wales, for all-day rehearsals. No cut-off times etc. Gig up to 10 times a year. Rehearse as and when. Pretty relaxed. Gig dates in the diary. Influences
60s, 70s, 80s rock and pop, plus more 'recent' indie and britpop. Pretty much everything, from Deep Purple / Bowie, to Killers / Oasis. Like to throw in the odd curveball, going from Floyd or Marillion to Bananarama or Frankie Goes to Hollywood, for example. But generally rock most things up. We think a lot about the set list for maximum crowd engagement.
