Formerly the vocalist/rhythm guitarist with the Nottingham-based folk-rock band Hemlock, I have been performing as a solo artist under the stage name Taren since moving to MK last year. I'm currently recording my debut album on which I am currently playing all the parts myself. I'm looking to form a band to gig with and possibly record with.

Influences
I am influenced by a range of acts such as Nick Drake, Iron and Wine, Alice in Chains, Iron Maiden, Fairport Convention, Omnia, Damh the Bard and Emperor, In short my music aims to combine the dark poetry of English folk with the atmosphere of European pagan-folk and metal.
