Bassist wanted for Southsea alternative rock band. Age range - 24, 25, 25. Stoner rock/grunge influences.
Having played locally and nationally in pubs, clubs and small festivals in bands together for many years, the three members have good chemistry together live. Having dismantled the last band two years ago, time has been spent to make the process easy for gigging with this new band. A high quality full set has been meticulously written over this time with a coherent sound, a modest recording set up has been put in place so that members can listen to demos to learn and practise songs in their own time if necessary, as well as a DIY practise space covered when funds and more professional practise spaces aren't available. Frontman is a graphic designer so can handle high quality promotional art, and all current members have gigging contacts.
Efforts such as those mentioned above have been put in place for the process to be stress-free so that this can be a fun experience, and time can be geared towards getting a great live show prepared. We will not be controlling of what you play, we would like someone to just have fun with their parts and be solid live. We would however like a new member to be within 5 or so years of us in age.
We are committed and passionate and very excited about the material that we have put together. We feel that rock and alternative fans will lap our set up. However, nothing impossible will be expected of you and we will be respectful of your other commitments that life forces upon us all!
