Hello, my name is Sugar and I am a vocalist and guitarist based in East London. I studied jazz singing at Saint Louis School of Jazz for a year and classic guitar for three. I am looking to make good music and develop my skills with other passionate musicians. The following are welcome:

Influences
My influences are very comprehensive, ranging from Al Green, Nina Simone, Etta James to Bonobo, Nneka, Melody Gardot, Erykah Badu, Childish Gambino, The Fugees...all in all, I listen to global underground music, past and present: trip hop, R&B, jazz, bossa nova, drum n bass, alternative folk and so on.
What I want to do is to synthetise as much musical tradition as is possible to innovate with others. My approach is experimental and I love jammin'.
