Feel
Feel
This is also an original song where I play and sing all the parts. It was composed in the late seventies and has a jazzy feel to it. The basic track was recorded some time ago and the piano was too loud, which I cannot fix. I added a lot of overdubs recently trying to tidy it up.

Always Gonna Stay
Always Gonna StayAlways Gonna Stay is a simple pop song which I composed in the mid Seventies and never did anything with. It was a blatant attempt at being commercial and the only thing I have added is a attempt at a Brian Wilson[esque] middle 8 which is almost acapella - I stripped out all the instruments except bass and drums. I'm using more acoustic instruments on this one too including accordian and harmonica.

Moving Slide
Moving SlideAnother original song I have been planning to record for a while. It was always my intention to have a brass section featured on this track. I have had to synthesise the brass on this demo as we are not only locked in due to covid, but I don't have access to a brass section.
-
Here And Gone
Here And GoneDemo of a musical suite that was i wrote long ago and have been recording for some time. Finalised it during lockdown 2020. The separate parts of this piece were always meant to run together as one continuous piece of music. I have worked hard to keep it as short as possible. Starts slow and slightly jazzy for about one and a half minutes and then main the theme and vocal comes in. All playing and all vocals done by me. COPYRIGHT STEWART SAINT

Taking The First Step

Falling In Love
Falling In LoveDemo quality version of another original track written in the dim dark past. Recorded on my old laptop with as much vocal camoflage as I could muster as I am not a great lead singer! I have played everything and sung all the vocals and harmonies as usual. I got a new keyboard that has a decent Clavinet sound at last! Really miss my old mechanical Clavinet!
-
You Must Have Voodoo
You Must Have VoodooDemo of a track written in the Seventies. I have tried to keep the sound , instrumentation and style very much early Seventies as it was first imagined. As with all my original track demos I have played everything and sung all the vocals and harmonies. Apologies for that as I am not a great lead singer!

Digital World
Digital WorldI have posted this original track before but I updated the mix and layout a bit. Its in retro style prog rock and the vocals don't come in til 2.57. I'm playing and singing everything as usual - could'nt get anyone in even if I wanted to in this bloody lockdown.
