Hi, I'm Steve.
I've been playing guitar for over 50 years and enjoy performing just as much today as I ever have. I'm an experienced multi-instrumentalist, playing lead guitar, acoustic guitar, keyboards, providing backing vocals, and the occasional lead vocal when needed.
I'm currently putting together a new covers band and already have an excellent drummer on board. The aim is to build a reliable, enjoyable band with experienced musicians who want to play quality music, have a laugh and perform great live shows.
Our repertoire will mainly consist of crowd-pleasing covers from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, together with selected modern favourites, covering classic rock, pop, country and blues. Once the band is established, we'd also like to introduce a few original songs.
The plan is to rehearse once a week at a local rehearsal studio and play paid gigs, ideally two to four each month, with the occasional charity event for a worthwhile cause. We'll mainly be playing across Wrexham, Flintshire and Cheshire.
I'm looking for musicians who are reliable, easy-going, well prepared and enjoy being part of a team. Own transport is essential.
Although most members will probably be in their 50s or 60s, age isn't the deciding factor. If you're a younger, experienced musician with the right attitude and commitment, you'd be very welcome.
Looking For
Lead vocalist who also plays electric or acoustic guitar.
Bass player (backing vocals would be a bonus).
Male or female.
