A very serious musician, but that doesn't stop me having a good time! I've been a concert pianist, a heavy metal guitarist, and a big band leader among other things - I love to play, get a huge kick out of performing on stage, and I put in the work to make sure I sound as good as I can.
Looking for a band to play anything from funk to heavy metal, whether original material or covers. Happy to play guitar or keys, and I'll do backing vocals - just give me a few weeks to get my voice back up to strength!

Influences
Where to start? Every piece of music I listen to influences me, for better or worse. If I had to choose: The Beatles, Jeff Beck, Black Sabbath, Mastodon, Radiohead for pop/rock. Beethoven, Bach, Rachmaninov for classical.
EQUIPMENT
Guitar: Gibson Les Paul fitted with Bare Knuckle Pickups. A mid-90s Peavey valve combo. A Pod XT which I use for pre-amp effects and recording. Nothing fancy to be honest - keep it simple, if your tone's bad no number of effects pedals will improve it.
Piano/keyboard: an old upright piano that's always a quarter tone flat. A midi keyboard that I can plug into a sound module for live keys.
General: a mixing desk and an SM57.
