I’m looking to put together a four or five piece rock and blues band for occasional gigs with like minded grown ups, egos under control, sense of humour and a love of rock n roll. My issue (having retired) is that I travel quite a bit so I cannot commit to a regular one or two gigs per month. But if you’re like me and up for creating something that is both very good and for fun, then get in touch. Rehearsals will have to work with the diary.
I have access to studio/recording eqpt. To anyone interested I’ve attached two tracks with vocals, and two needing vocals. Not perfect but gives you an idea. I also like light and shade, so acoustics and country is good as well.
My playing standard is closer to advanced than expert but on a good night I can rock. I’m particularly keen to play behind a good vocalist (male or female) and am as happy to lock in with the rhythm section as I am to wig out on lead stuff.

EQUIPMENT
I have invested in tone. Guitars include a Custom Shop LP, a 335, a Gilmour Strat, a Suhr and a customised guitar. I also play a Taylor acoustic when I get into the country mood.
On amps, I like to split a Matchless Independence with a Third Power Kitchen Sink. Whilst I love playing at volume this kit can deliver an amazing sound that can work in a small pub.
