I love playing and writing music with others and have played in bands since I was 13. I have played in DIY punk / hardcore / post-punk bands and played hundreds of shows, all over UK, plus tours in Ireland, Spain, France, Sweden. Since moving to SW London (from Cardiff) I have found it more difficult to meet like-minded folk, so hope to with the help of this website. Although my background is punk, my taste is varied and I enjoy playing all sorts of stuff - soul / funk, jangly indie/pop, psych, slowcore, surf etc. My 'first' instrument is bass guitar, but I can play guitar well and drums to a decent standard.

Background is punk/hardcore with special place for Revolution Summer / DC - Minor Threat, Rites of Spring, Embrace, Fugazi etc
Big lover of post-punk / goth, e.g. The Cure, Smiths, Echo and the Bunnymen, Siouxsie, Cocteau Twins, Xmal Deutschland, Chameleons etc.
These days most likely to be listening to 60s/70s psych or soul records and would love to play in a band of that style if opportunity arose
