ABOUT

PROFESSONAL BASSIST WANTED

If you are a professional 5+ String Bassist that is up for a challenge, paid gigs, industry showcases and endorsements are waiting for you, so please get in touch. All applicants must have their own transport, equipment, highly dedicated, professional, well versed in music theory and proficient on their instrument to a high musical standard.

Splintered Soul was formed by Chris Frost in 2006, in order to bring his two main musical passions together in fusion; Film-Scoring and Metal, which has been dubbed 'Epic Cinematic Metal'. Crushing Metal riffs contrasted with the beauty and ambience of Film-Scoring, Chris managed to create a style of music that not only appeals to a wider audience, but is also able to fit as much in the foreground for live performance, as it does in the background in cinematography.

In August 2010, Splintered Soul made headlines performing at the Bloodstock Open Air Festival, along with such acts as Meshuggah, Devin Townsend, Opeth, Sonata Arctica, and many more.

Splintered Soul are currently recording their new album featuring Chris Broderick of Megadeth, for release along with industry showcase event (to the likes of Roadrunner Records, Metal Hammer Magazine, etc.,) from January 2011.

Splintered Soul are endorsed by Ernie Ball Inc, ENGL Amplification, Bare Knuckle Pickups, Graph Tech Guitar Labs and Martin Hobby Photography.
