I've played guitar on and off for ages, have dabbled with a couple of bands but never got out of the rehearsal room. I'd love to meet others who want to play for the love of it, maybe play in a few pubs/open stage nights, do some interesting covers, but mostly just to have fun and enjoy the music. My life won't allow much more than 1 night a week to dedicate to a gigging band, but if there is anyone out there who wants to get together now and then and play a few tunes, that would be perfect! Ideally another girl who plays and sings - I can sing back up, so 2 guitars and 2 voices... might be good.

Singer/songwriters like Eva Cassidy, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt etc. I wish I could play as well as anyone from this list, maybe if I had kept playing for 20 years solid instead of keep giving up and putting my guitar away for a year at a time, I would be able to! But I can rip off a few of their licks, tricks and solos when I am feeling inspired... Can also play slide.
