I'm a 22 year old male saxophonist looking to join an already fairly established band. Ideally I want to play soul/northern, funk and bluesy/rock'n'roll type stuff. Though I would be open to joining an interesting ska/gypsy folk ska band too. Basically, if you have a band that gets people up and dancing rather than standing and nodding, I'd happily play with you!
I own a tenor and alto and am happy to play either/both. I also own a bamboo sax which although a bit limited is a pretty good novelty.
I do play guitar as well and sing fairly decently (though not a massive vocal range) so would happily sing a couple of tunes/do backing vocals and harmonies.
I'm a research student at Imperial, so I normally work weekdays though I've got quite a bit of flexibility with hours. I live in South East London but, I can easily get to most places in London. If you need anyone with a car though, I'm afraid I only cycle/train.
