ABOUT
27 Year Old based in Stockport and Greater Manchester.
I first became a musician at 13 ish years old and my first instrument was drums. I picked up the bass at 16 years old as my "side instrument". I've toured up and down the country with my old band Derision, playing gigs with the likes of Death Angel and Nervosa, and more recently playing Hammerfest. After we called it a day, I put down the sticks permanently due to an ongoing ankle injury and picked up guitar. After a couple of years, I decided it wasn't for me and picked the bass back up full time.
I'm still currently working on blowing away the cobwebs but I'm quick to learn and pick things up fast. I have my own gig ready gear, I drive, and I'm also a fully qualified audio engineer trained in Pro Tools and Reaper. I am fully capable of recording and mixing at home and will happily show some of my work on request.
I'm looking to form/join a metal band, preferably in the same vein as my influences, melodic death metal would be ideal. I've been in all kinds but more recently a symphonic metal band.
