Formed in the summer of 2005 The Shaolin Monkeys are one of the most exciting young bands to come out of South London in decades. The Shaolin Monkeys take the slick, intelligent song-writing of front-man Boyce and create something new and exciting with every number. Whether creating driving rhythms or stunning acoustic melodies, you can’t help but take notice of their unique sound.
Purposefully avoiding the ego-ridden scene of young London they have moved in their own circles, staying loyal to their inner city roots, perfectly encapsulating the vibrant sounds of a generation bored of the dressed up image conscious middle class indie movement sweeping the capital.
