The Smashed in Pumpkins seek a new lead guitarist.

Simon (our current guitarist)will be transitioning out of the band in early 2026 and there is an exciting opportunity for a performer with the following skills to fill his boots.

We’re looking for the following:

•? ?Can perform Billy Corgan’s guitar solos with accuracy to the original.
•? ?Skilled at recreating Billy's guitar tones, and has the equipment to do so (or the willingness to invest quickly). If on Helix we can provide all of the existing patches that have already been created.
•? ?Experience playing live.
•? ?Own transport and ability to rehearse in Loughborough (midlands) – twice a month initially but just once a month ongoing.
•? ?Proactive in supporting the general functions of running the band.
•? ?Positive energy that can mix well with a nice group of lads – no egos please.
•? ?A love for the Pumpkins would be ideal!

The Smashed in Pumpkins are the Uk’s number 1 Pumpkins tribute having played various established venues and major tribute festivals (Festwich etc) over the past 5 years. We typically perform approx 10-12 shows per year (generally on Saturdays) and confirmed future shows include O2 performances.
