RiffLover disbanded.....

BUT - now looking to put together a new band to play Classic Rock with a twist - some standards from legendary bands - The Rolling Stones, Free, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin and more - to some rare but fabulous songs by great artists such as Koko Taylor, Mountain, Freddie King and Izzy Stradlin from Guns N'Roses.... and always, but always, with a riff in mind... ?

Rehearse Thursday evenings - usually at Borrowby (near Thirsk) - occasional but fairly regular gigs (not every weekend - about 1 a month) - we are all aged late mid to late 50s - all very nice easy going people, with a sense of loyalty and friendship with each other and a passion for music - we all like each other as people and as musicians, and we are easy to get along with, and very welcoming, as there are no 'difficult' personalities in the band - no egos!

Looking to create a new band for weekly rehearsals in the Thirsk area - Mark now lives in York, and Ken and Hugh live around Yarm, so Thirsk is a mid-point for us... Thursday evenings, and occasional gigs - we all have day jobs and relationships.... Ken Robinson on bass & vocals, Mark Thompson on guitar, with Hugh McGouran on drums......
