ABOUT

I'm Siobhán and I'm looking for people I can connect with and be creative with.

My primary instrument is my mandolin, which I tend to carry around most places with me. I am a singer, and I play a whole load of other instruments as well, including drums, percussion, bass guitar, guitar (though I mostly play in alternate tunings, especially DADGAD), and keyboard.

At present mostly I can be found playing the Sunday music open mic at The Actors (formerly The Marly) in Kemptown. Improvisation is my thing, I love to layer various instruments using looping.

I love jamming, I'm versatile, I'm responsive, I get into the vibe and groove very quickly. I can lead but also to give space to others

I'm transgender (she/her), Queer and neurodivergent. I'm passionate about music, well organised and 'professional' (I've been a Software Developer by trade, working for a large company for 20 years). I want to help create safe spaces, I have many healthy values, principles and ethics, I highly value and respect consent, boundaries, agency, diversity, and more.

I have mostly released music under the name "Fire Healer", and have music up on most streaming sites.
