I'm a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, piano, bass, drums), sound engineer, music producer as well as a background in musical theatre so when I play in gigs I perform (i dance and have fun with the audience and with my fellow performers. Although I'm in my late 40s I look young and am easy on the eye (so friends tell me). I also use a midi enabled keytar, which allows me to perform even more on stage and with the audience.

Influences
Most of my influences are from pop/rock/folk/rnb genres. I'm heavily influenced by all funk music, acid jazz including bands like Jamiroquai, incognito, brand new heavies, etc. I would say on Keys my goto genre is funk/soul/motown. I play all the classics you'd expect.

I also have a full lighting rig, computer controlled and linked to a keypad that I put on my mic stand for coordinated lighting at gigs
