ABOUT

Ghost Tongue – Band Mythos
Born of shadows, steeped in spellwork, and baptized in reverb — Ghost Tongue is the Southern rock exorcism you didn’t know you needed.

Out of the ruins of Melonheadman, a cult favorite known for cosmic stage shows and underground anthems like Crowman and Sister of the Screen, came a new voice — rawer, deeper, stranger. Ghost Tongue is not just a band; it’s a summoning.

It began with Savs, a haunted guitar-slinger and voice-channeler, who once stood on stage with the real firebrands of glam rock — Mott the Hoople’s own Ariel Bender — and brought that thunder back across the veil. His voice carries both the grit of the Southern highway and the echo of something ancient scratching from beyond the veil.

Beside him, two Simons:

Simon C conjures guitar lines that spiral like smoke around the moon.

Simon B, part prophet, part piano-witch, brings vocal harmonies and vintage keys that sound like they’ve been pulled from an abandoned cathedral in the swamp.

Paul on bass is the band’s spine and seer — holding it down with a rhythmic low-end that both shakes the ground and lifts the spirit.
And Mike, a percussion alchemist, beats the ritual into the dust with drums that don’t just keep time — they summon it.

Together, they don’t just play music — they cast it.

The Sound
Ghost Tongue’s sound drips with Southern soul and stadium fire, fused with the burnt incense of psychedelic ritual. Think: if Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Doors, and Black Sabbath met in a dive bar built on cursed land. There are hints of glam, gospel, and guitar-slinging chaos, but always something unsettling and beautiful threading through — a voice from somewhere else.

The Name
The name Ghost Tongue came to Savs in a dream: a whispering voice speaking truths in a language only music could translate. It's the spirit behind the amp, the voice on the wind, the song that knows your name before you do.

Ghost Tongue speaks for the unseen, plays for the unheard, and burns stages down wherever the road takes them.
