Influences

My first real musical interest were the big prog bands of the early 70s. ELP, Genesis, King Crimson, etc. Moving into the post punk era I really like early Ultravox, Siouxsie and The Banshees and PIL.
Most of what I do these days is probably more influenced by new pop artists such as Scritti Politti, Prince and Wendy and Lisa, but also singer songwriters such as Todd Rundgren.
Some of the 'newer' artists and bands I'm currently listening to would include War on Drugs, Interpol and Father John Misty among a long list.
