I am looking for musicians to help me get a new band off the ground. Initially there will be weekly practices in order to build a repertoire. The aim is to play the pubs & clubs local to CM17 (Harlow) and a bit further afield. On route to this aim playing open mics and maybe the odd free charity gig.
This will be a golden opportunity for mature musicians that have maybe retired from their musical days but are itching to get out there and play music again. So being ‘rusty’ is not a reason to give up on such an opportunity. There will be plenty of opportunity to polish up or develop technique.
It is anticipated that the bands genres will be mostly popular, rock & roll, country, easy listening and maybe some golden oldies in the style of the Rat Pack.
I’m planning to have regular practices weekly and during the day so this opportunity will suit those of more mature years or who work part time.
In order to join you will of course need your own gear and transport. Initially I’m looking for guitar, bass guitar, drums, lead vocalist to accompany me on keyboard.
