Not been in a band since 2001 and would like to start playing properly again.
Would be interested in joining an established band for gigging or meeting like-minded musical folk for acoustic (or electric) jamming.
I'm currently into Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, John Mayer, Ray Lamontagne, Amos Lee, Neil Finn (Crowded House) acoustic/folk tunes but historically my musical taste are Kings of Leon, Ocean Colour Scene, The Beatles, Paul Weller, The Jam, Oasis etc but open to many styles.
Other artists I like: Prince, Bowie, Billy Joel, Arctic Monkeys, Elvis, Hall and Oates, Jackie Wilson, The Strokes, Otis Reading.
Would like to perform covers, not really interested in original material. Would love to gig again and get my levels back up to what they were. In my mid 30s and completely self-taught.
