I've been playing guitar, mostly acoustic for a few years as an on and off hobby. Its largely been playing rhythm to songs and occasional jams with a pro friend who plays lead, although I've recently tried picking up a few simplistic leads. Seeing this as a hobby I never got around to playing in public or even finding out if I am good enough yet. I am no pro by any means but willing to practice and commit.
