ABOUT

I play mostly covers at the moment and enjoy covering anything with a good groove to it. Often inspired a lot by the instrumentals behind hip/hop or modern rap, especially when this gets into jazz kinda territories.

I also like a bit of Indie Soul / Pop type beats that bring some synths & drum machines into the mix.

Influences

Laura Lee from Khruangbin writes my favourite riffs, I love some psychedelic funky kinda stuff such as First Class or Mariella. Tame Impala falls into a similar territory for me.

Hip Hop influences range from Badbadnotgood’s work with Ghostface Killah, Anderson Paak, and some lighter pop influences like Dominic Fike.

Out towards the more indie/pop/rock end, I’m mostly playing Palace, Parcels, and Metronomy at the moment. Love some indie rock like Arctic Monkeys & Foals too.
