ABOUT

Hiya, https://soundcloud/scotty-boy-6 Guitarist, music maker for 20years. Have some music which I need help with, to varying degrees. Looking to write, perform in successful rock band. Lou Reed reckons you can't beat 2 guitars, bass and drum, and I'm inclined to agree. So I want to meet another guitarist, a bassist, and a drummer. Can't sing for toffee. So that needs sorting aswell. If anything here is of interest, point yourself out to me at tenpounder777@msn . com.

Influences

The Velvet Underground, although I haven't sounded like them for a while. From Simon and Garfunkel, to Iron Maiden. It's just a huge list of musical likes, but briefly. Stone Roses, Pixies, Radiohead, early Blur, early ZZtop, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, George Harrison. I believe the best album ever produced was "New York" by Lou Reed, for it's sociological, aswell as musical impact. That's something I'd like to emulate. I like more light hearted stuff aswell though. Can't stand adolescent girl trouble music, unless it's by the violent femmes.

EQUIPMENT

Les paul, Peavey Delta Blues, Boss GT8, Du Hast. Yamaha Keyboard. Decent home Studio.
