Hello. My name is Sam, I'm 26 and I'm looking to start a band focused around melodic rock/metal with heavy inspiration from the band Ghost.
A bit about me:
I have 7 years worth of experiance playing in bands and gigging around the UK. I've writen and recorded albums and singles and i still write stuff to this day and record it into a DAW. Im dedicated to writing and playing music and most days can't put down my guitar
What i want the band to be:
As mentioned in the title i'm heavily inspired by the rock band "Ghost". I absolutely love how they write songs and just how groovy and catchy most of their music is. I'm also really into the get ups and costumes they wear on stage and the showman ship they bring to their gigs and i want to do something similar. I don't want to completely replicate what they do but instead put my own spin on the genre and create something interesting out of it. I want this band to be a catchy sing a long type band. I am open to ideas though
My other influences include: Megadeth, Slayer, Lamb of God, Periphery, Meshuggah, Sylosis, Slipknot and so on.
Looking for:
Based around but not limited to the Manchester/Greater Manchester area

Experiance:
To apply you must have at least a few years of playing experiance. Im not too bothered about music theory knoledge but that would be a bonus if you're good at that. Must also be able to take criticism well when pitching song ideas. Must also be okay with costumes and what not, i dunno it's just something i think that would be cool. I love the whole mysteriousness around it.
Im really commited to doing something like this. I haven't played in a few years because i fell out with music but as of this year i've started playing and practicing again along with writing and recording my own tracks for a solo project but i miss being in a band and being up on stage
Practice:
Currently i don't own an amp stack as i record and play through a DAW on my PC but i'm more than willing to rent out a practice space in the future.
