Hello, my name is Samuel Cooper - a musician with intentions to form a career out of what is one of my greatest passions in life.
I've been playing for around 5 years now and I thought it time to search for a band.
I'm mainly looking for a DRUMMER/PERCUSSIONIST but any other instruments within the range of the standard Rock formation would be useful. I would also like to hear from people who play more quirky/unusual instruments too - anything really, for they could add that touch of character to the music - don't be afraid to contact me, whichever instrument you play.
I'm looking for committed musicians, but no pressure - seriously, and especially on the first few potential meet ups.
I myself am a SINGER/SONGWRITER, and the music I've written seems to be along the lines of ALTERNATIVE EXPERIMENTAL MELODIC FOLK ROCK. Folk Rock is one the desired styles of music I'll be searching for with a band, but any suggestions are most welcome and will be taken into account.
In a band I think sharing roles is a great versatile way for a band to show impact, plus I think it's fair.
I would like to play some lead roles with guitar, but I don't mind too much who sings most of the vocals. I also don't mind switching to rhythm guitar at certain times.
Musicians must be good enough at least to have a good feel for their instruments - you don't have to be demons at what you play, but of course they're must welcome lol.

Well I personally am a singer/songwriter guitarist... so obviously I have my vocals. I also have an electric guitar and a reliable semi acoustic guitar.
