Hello, I'm a metal guitarist and I've been playing since late 2019/early 2020 (can't remember exactly when I started playing).
Despite being mainly a metal guitarist, I can stretch to other genres too. Other than metal I typically play psychedelic rock, shoegaze-esque stuff, Epunk & country.
I use a lot of modulation effects on my clean tones (typically chorus or phaser). As for my metal tone, I try to get something close to the Far Beyond Driven tone (EQ pedal scooping the mids, then crank the mids on your amp, then scoop them again coming out using a second EQ pedal).
