Played bass/guitar in a punk band during my late teens but nothing since (20+ years). Picked up guitar again seriously around mid-2019 and practising every day with a view to performing live at some point later this year or next post lockdown.
Also play (classical) piano and converting to rock and learning to sing (properly) and working on some basic song writing. Good understanding of music theory and again something I am working on. But main focus right now is back on the guitar.
