Looking for drums, bass and a multi-instrumentalist Female Vocal.

Wanted: Drummer Bass and a multi-instrumentalist Female Vocal for a Country & Western/Americana covers band.

Greater London (North and South), SE London, home counties and Kent area.

I have put together a band of experienced musicians with different backgrounds who are united by their love of country music.
Andy Ryan and Paul Stoneham, are members of an in-demand shanty group, Swinging the Lead. As well as singing, Andy is the band leader and deals with the socials and admin. Along with vocals, Paul’s big contribution to the band sound is on the pedal-steel guitar and rhythm guitar as required. On lead guitar is Nicky Barker, songwriter, international touring musician, sound engineer and studio engineer. Currently ready to gig and have bookings, but would like full-time members and not Deps.

You should be able to commit to rehearsals every 2-3 weeks in Greater London (North and South) or Kent alternating. More if we have a gig coming up and less if we don't. We use Banana Road Studios in Erith Kent, Pirate in Dalston and a few other rehearsal rooms North and South.

Don’t need a Dep or session player.

Looking for someone that wants to play the genre and join a new band made of old souls.

Playing country classics by Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Jimmy Buffet, Shania Twain, and more. Our material is full of country floor fillers like “Achy Breaky Heart” and country rock versions of songs like “Proud Mary”, as well as the classics that people love to sing along to like “Country Roads”.

We are currently using Deps for the drums and bass but are looking for the right people to fill the spots.

EQUIPMENT

I have Behringer XR18 and X32 Rack, Midas M32C along with X-Touch controllers and a full size touch screen PC for sound engineering and recording and the PM16 set up for IEM and/or stage wedges and a set of 15" Polly cabs with amp, Turbosound IQ 15" and 4 X 12" powered speakers for smaller venues/practice and stage monitors. Basic T-Bar LED lights.
