Looking to get an originals only band going asap. Aged 20-26. Have experience in and out of studio, on the road, sharp vision and clear idea of what he wants. Love working with other people, want to get a solid unit of good people going to create powerful and prolific music that catches people off guard with an air of unshamed smart pop. Play bass and guitar too but prefer to be main vocalist/frontman and occasionally dip into instruments. Looking to develop unique sound, interesting and melodic, powerful and dynamic. Genres that influence me are post-punk, 90's indie and intelligent new wave...........Echo and the bunnymen, Blur/Graham Coxon, Buzzcocks, Jam, the La's, early Biffy Clyro, the the, doors, REM, Radiohead (Bends), Police, Tom Waits, Gary Numan, Iggy Pop, Pulp, Primal Scream, Jesus and Mary Chain, Manic street preachers, Nirvana, Black Grape, Ian Dury, Adam Ant, Savages, Interpol, Babyshambles, Blondie, Gaz Coombes, Miles Kane, Eugene McGuiness, Lou Reed, Bowie, the psychedelic furs, Roxy Music, Morrissey/Smiths/Electronic, Hard-Fi, Ian Dury, New Order/Joy Division, Suede, Ian Brown, the Fall..........loads more but dont know how weird people wanna get with it yet. Looking for anything and everything. bass, guitar, drums, keys...... not saying has to be flashy or arty, just something stimulating, fresh-faced an forward-thinking........
