ABOUT

I’m Tom - played guitar since I was 18 and was “never going to be a lead guitarist” according to my guitar teacher at the time so I mainly play rhythm. I can play bass but I’m no “bassist”. I can sing fairly well and have sung lead vocals in previous bands but am not desperate or precious about it going forwards. I mostly sing clean but can dabble in some growls.

I’ve been in a few bands over the years and played a few gigs in Birmingham, Leicester and London.

I’ve written a fair amount, have recorded my own stuff over the years and have a fairly wide range in influences but ideally would love to be in a progressive metal/hard rock band that does some fairly regular gigs.

I’ve got a young family and significant job so I appreciate my time is limited overall but with the right people/band/music I’d been very keen to pursue it as seriously as possible. My wife sings in a local band that gigs fairly regularly (completely different music to me though!) so if she can find time then I can too!
