Rumour Cubes are a group of 20-something Londoners with a love for all things musical. Taking influences from Explosions In The Sky, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Mogwai, among others, the group layer intricate melodies over technical drum beats and delayed guitars. Working with film makers, poets and DJs and using a joystick to control granulated found sounds, Rumour Cubes focus as much on the experience as the music itself. An evening in their company will certainly be different.
Formed in late 2009, the band released their debut EP - We Have Sound Houses Also - in August of last year on Marriage Of A Dead Dog SING! Records. It can be downloaded for free from http://rumourcubes.bandcamp

Members Of Band
Rumour Cubes is made up of Joe Bartlett (bass), Siew Cottis (viola), Hannah Morgan (violin), Omar Rahwangi (drums), Adam Stark (guitar, electronics) and Simon Stark (guitar, electronics).
Our viola player is sadly leaving the band at the end of February so we are looking for a replacement.
