ABOUT

A Nigerian born English man. RoyaltyX has the experience of two parts of the globe. Originally cultivated by Fuji and Afro centric music in his home town Ibadan along side English hip-hop fused with R&B and gospel. Royalty started his career early by performing in talent shows in secondary school and college. He also joined a musical academy. From there he took on the guidance and mentorship from great musicians, song writers and performers. At this point of his musical career his skills were more matured. Royalty is into a wide spectrum of genres. He believes this keeps him relevant and open to creativity. In the summer of 2018, Royalty released his single titled ‘Secrets we keep’ on a digital platform. The song itself was received well by fans. Since then he has continued to write new materials and spend time in the studio working on his craft.

Influences

As a child Royalty was influenced by the likes of artists such as Usher, KC and Jojo and Boys 2 Men. A mixture of these influences inspired Royalty to perform in his church where he fell in love with Rhyme and choir and how the music brought people together.
