Superfruit are a busy function band, based in Southend, with plenty of booked work across the south east. Unfortunately we are losing our bassist due to other commitments and are looking to find someone new asap. Currently we gig most weekends with the occasional week day gig thrown in. We are ambitious though and are working to increase our workload as well as our fee!
We are looking for a bass guitarist with an aptitude for pop, rock and funk (leaning towards the latter two, because let's face it, it's just more fun). We cover songs from 50s right up to today's hits to give clients a bit of everything but are also looking to start a Blondie and 80s tribute and a 60s, 70s, 80s themed show. Any backing vocals would be a bonus but not essential. The main thing is that you love to play music, like free beer and a laugh and want to earn some decent money whilst enjoying all this. We need you to be committed to gigging most Fridays and Saturdays but able to gig mid-week too if needed. All applicants must be over 18.
