Bass Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle.ABOUT
I've been playing guitar in heavy bands most of my life, but I've recently found a passion for bluegrass music. I've been learning bluegrass guitar for around 6 months, so still finding my feet, but it seems like traditionally it's a style of music where you learn your chops best by playing with others. So I'm looking for locally based bluegrass influenced musicians (fiddle, banjo, mandolin, lapsteel, peddlesteel, double bass) to maybe hook up for some informal bluegrass jams.

Influences
I'm basically trying to soak up everything I can. A love country music lead me to Jimmy Martin which is where it all started. Obviously Billy Strings was a logical find on the journey which lead me to folks like Brian Sutton and Sierra Hull. Then the deep dive took me to classic bluegrass guitarists like Tony Rice, Doc Watson, Norman Blake and Clarence White.
